Sack letter over freedom of association @Nnamdi Azikiwe University

Written By gideon oluseyi on Wednesday 2 April 2014 | 18:02

House Officers at the Nnamdi Azikwe
University Teaching Hospital in Nnewi,
Anambra State are being threatened of getting
sacked by 4pm today over joining the
Association of Resident Doctors in the state.
Management of NAUTH yesterday April 1
posted a notice telling doctors they had only
24hours to rescind their decision to join the
association or risk the withdrawal of their
internship programme.
The House Officers say their decision to join
was because of unaccountable deductions in
salary and good working condition ...believing
ARD would protect their interests. Aren't
people free to join any association they
want?...
