There has been a lot of talk about the upcoming Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles reboot, with a lot of fans having a lot of different things to complain about. One of the things that many fans were less than pleased about, was the fact that Megan Fox was cast in the role of April O'Neil. With that in mind, we decided to see how we think Megan will compare to that of past April O'Neil stars Judith Hoag and Paige Turco.
Megan Fox is the new April O'Neil
Those of you who are fans of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie series will remember that Judith Hoag playd the role of April O'Neil in the first Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles film. Judith did a stellar job in the role and was asked back to play April again in the sequel. Unfortunately, Judith and her team had a few too many demands and she was ultimately replaced.
Following the departure of Judith Hoag, a new actress was needed to play April O'Neil in the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles sequel. After searching high and low, Paige Turco was eventually cast, playing the role of April O'Neil in the next two Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles films. Paige was solid in the role but it wasn't quite the same as having Judith Hoag back.

A lot of people are expecting Megan Fox to flop as April O'Neil in the new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie but, while she does have some big shoes to step into, we feel that she could be the best April O'Neil yet. The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles reboot will open on August 8 in the US and October 17 in the UK.
