SEE The Mess Okonjo-Iweala isPutting Jonathan's Government

The minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister
for the Economy, Dr. Ngonzi Okonjo Iweala
reported that between 2011 to 2013, the Federal
Government granted a total of One Hundred and
Seventy Billion, Seven Hundred Million (N170b)
worth of import waivers.
In her break down on yearly basis she put the
figures as follows:
A. 2011: N55.965b
B.2012 : N55.34b
C.2013 : N59.4b
Amazingly, the Nigerian Customs Service whose
domain it is to execute the waivers gave an
outrageous and alarming contradicting amount of
waivers approved by the same Okonjo-Iweala in
the following order:
A.2011 : N480billion
B.2012 : N480. "
C.2013 : N474. "
The total amount between 2011 to 2013 according
to the customs service is N1.4 trillion...
Whose figure is correct between the Customs and
the Minister? I authoritatively say that about 60%
of this waivers is to a single business man in
Nigeria. We all know what this amount of money
would have done to the economy. Are we to keep
quiet in the face of obvious obscurity, stealing and
looting of our common patrimony. We must speak
out and challenge corruption and corrupt person.
We are here by using this opportunity to call on
the Auditor -General of the Federation to furnish us
using the freedom of information bill, information
on the following:
1. Police Pension scam: N32billion
2. Teidi Pension scam: N5billion
3)Theft of crude oil monthly put at $2billion
4)NCC Spectrum sales racket: N53billion
5)Stella Oduah car scam: N255million
6)The depletion of the Excess Crude oil Account
from $8 to $2 billion.
We also demand the audited account of NNPC from
2009 to date. We have no other country but
Nigeria. Government must be responsible and
accountable to the people. Government must be
about the people and the people alone. I say no to
government of the greedy by the greedy and for
the greedy.
Above all, we shall overcome.
God bless Nigeria
