Two weeks after finalising his divorce from Kym Marsh, Jamie Lomas has spoken out about his new girlfriend, Chloe Peers.
Speaking to the Mirror, Jamie said the 23-year-old model was "an amazing girl," adding, "we have a lot of fun together.
"Life is good at the moment," said Jamie. "I'd still love to go to America at some point and try films, but I am really happy here."
Jamie, 33, and Chloe attended the National Television Awards on Wednesday night, notably keeping their distance from 37-year-old Kym.
Arriving nearly an hour after her ex-husband, Kym turned heads as she walked up the red carpet, supported by her Coronation Street co-star Antony Cotton.
Jamie, meanwhile, made a solo entrance before being reunited with girlfriend Chloe once inside the star-studded London bash.
Chloe took to Twitter to show just how much fun the couple were having, posting an intimate snap of her kissing Jamie on the cheek.
"Me and my boy @jamielomas1 at the #NTAS London!" wrote Chloe alongside the image, which Jamie retweeted to his thousands of fans.
Kym had her own reason to celebrate as she and her co-stars scooped the award for Best Serial Drama, battling it out against EastEnders, Emmerdale and Hollyoaks.
Earlier this month, Kym and Jamie were granted a divorce following the breakdown of their marriage.
The couple split in October after it was claimed that Kym had had a five-month affair with her co-star Oliver Mellor.
Kym and Jamie, who have a two-year-old daughter Polly, were together for four years before they tied the knot in September 2012. The couple tragically lost their first child Archie Jay Lomas who was born prematurely in 2009.
